Help Send a Native Student to SAIGE!
How can I Help? The sequestration has impacted most of our agencies, training and travel have been curtailed and funds formerly dedicated to supporting diversity efforts have been trimmed. SAIGE is feeling the effects of these cutbacks; one of the critical areas affected is our Youth Track. Additionally, the Youth Track is growing and we have applications for students to attend this year’s training program. The American Indian Higher Education Consortium will be sending an additional group of students to the training program. However, we do not yet have full funding for the regular applicants. In response to this situation, SAIGE has launched a crowdsourcing site on Indiegogo.com to help fund our…

Society of American Indian Government Employees Annual Recognition Awards We are now accepting nominations for the 2013 SAIGE Recognition Awards. The Deadline for submitting a nomination is APRIL 20, 2013. The purpose of these awards is to recognize agencies and individuals who through their personal commitment, and professional initiative, have made contributions in recruiting, retaining, and providing career advancement opportunities to American Indian and Alaskan Native (AI/AN) employees in the Federal workforce, and who have assisted with the advancement of AI/AN professionals.
